Day 101 – Lake and Wondering

I hope I one day have a job where I don’t dread Sunday nights for the anticipation of the week. Wanting to get out of bed would be nice, too. All I ever think about is how much awesomeness I’m missing because I’m doing what I HAVE to do.

Why do I HAVE to do this? Why do I HAVE to follow the standard that was created by men hundreds of years ago? Shouldn’t we evolve instead of blindly playing this game?

Day 77 – The Game We’ve Made

People have turned life into some kind of macro-superficial-pointless game. No one even remembers that we have a choice to NOT play this game. The minute we decide to play their insipid game is the moment we lose. Unfortunately for most, the game begins at birth and we never learn that life exists outside of this twisted setup.

Our System isn’t Wired for People with ADHD

Who created this system that says we HAVE to do certain activities eight hours each day? Some people fit into that mold, yet others never will.

The answer often given to those that don’t fit the standard, “Sit still and read for 8 hours in a desk,” are given medication to make them behave the way the system calls for.

Is there something wrong with the child that can’t sit quietly or is there something wrong with the system that forces the kid indoors for the bulk of his/her childhood?

Maybe there’s nothing wrong with those classified as ADHD. Maybe they just need a better system that doesn’t force them to conform.
